The Great Drag Race - This Saturday In Aid of Prostate Action

This Saturday 100s of men in full drag and makeup will be covering a 10.2km course at Highbury Fields, London, as part of the Great Drag Race which is being run in aid of  Prostate Action, who fund research and education relating to prostate cancer and associated diseases, which claimed the lives of over 10,000 men in the UK last year.

At last year's Great Drag Race £25,000 was raised in support of Prostate Action's work. If you want to take part in this year's event the registration fee is £10, and the race starts at 9am on 18 June, with the prize of a free feather boa to anyone who has over £100 of pledges! Of course if you're not up for all that strenuous exercise you could always turn up to see the spectacle, but if you do I'm sure a donation would be welcome. Check Twitter for updates on the day if you can't make it - I'm sure there will be plenty of outrageous and embarrassing photos linked from tweets! I'd go along myself but I'm over in Bristol performing on Saturday...
