URBAN NERDS & ATG Partying Into the New Year

URBAN NERDS, the bass-loving party starters who’ve brought an eclectic mash-up of dubstep, electro, garage, grime and UK bass to East London for the past 4 years, including collaborations with Fabric, Matter, Time Out and others are bringing in the New Year with a party at the Hearn St Car Park in Shoreditch from 9pm to 5:30am on New Year’s Eve. This vast indoor car park space will be transformed with two enormous Funktion 1 sound systems, fully licensed bars, cloakroom and smoking area for an evening not to be missed.

On the night there’s going to be a fantastic line-up including a 90 minute set from Mala (Digital Mystikz) and the likes of P Money, Toddla T & Redlight ft. Serocee & Dread MC, Nicky Blackmarket ft. MCs Det & Navigator and many others, with the entire event sponsored by Eristoff Vodka. Graffiti crew ATG will also be getting in one the act and MCing their own sets in a follow-up to the much talked about ATG Do One night – expect the dirtiest, bass-led beats and blips alongside tech house. They’ve already taken in a tour of the U.S.A, numerous Glastonbury showcases, and collaborations with Jade Jagger’s Jezebel night so I imagine this New Year’s Eve event is going to go with one hell of a bang! Tickets are £35 in advance or £40 on the door (if there are any left that is!) and you can pick them up online here.

For those of you who just can’t get enough, nip round the corner to the Queen of Hoxton when the lights go down on  Hearn St at 5:30am, and you’ll be able to continue partying until 12 with even more minimal tech, deep house, techno, garage and funk. The Queen of Hoxton happens to boast one of  London’s best kept secrets; an enormous roof terrace, with unrivalled views across the city and East London’s incredible skyline. Party animals will be protected from the elements with marquees, heating and plenty of seating, with breakfast served as the sun rises on the first morning of the New Year! For the first 100 turning up there’ll be complimentary drinks courtesy of Eristoff Vodka to take off a bit of the winter chill! Tickets for this after-party are priced at £5 for early birds, £8 in advance and a tenner on the door, and you can pick them up online here.
