We welcome guest authors on the Londoneer, hovever before submitting an article we would ask you to note the high editorial standards of this site. Here are two recent examples of work that we were more than happy to reproduce because of their quality and interesting angle - if you can offer material of a similar standard we would really like to hear from you.

Reviews

Here at the Londoneer we like lots of things, but we get particularly excited about the theatre, art, books and food. We would really like the opportunity to review more theatrical performances taking place in London, and we would also like to offer the Londoneer as a platform for critiques of recent books about London which would be of interest to our readers. If you represent a theatrical agency or venue who has something exciting coming up we’d really like to hear about it, and if you have a new London-focused book to promote please do let us know. News of upcoming art exhibitions is also welcome, and we’ll try to pop along if we can.

If you’re opening a new eatery and want some coverage we’ll also do our best to help, but please bear in mind that we only support venues that offer reasonably-priced food. There are lots of sites online that will cheerfully review £100+ per head restaurants - we just don’t happen to be one of them. The rule is that if we can’t afford to eat there, we won’t talk about it here…

Advertising

The Londoneer currently displays advertising served by the Google Adsense network, alongside a few affiliate links which are currently in testing – these serve to offset the direct annual costs incurred in running the site.

We do not sell text links (and you shouldn’t ask – Google take a very dim view of this practice). We are open to offers from advertisers who wish to use the site to advertise to potential customers directly, and we would be prepared to modify an existing advertising space in those circumstances. Please note, however, that we will not agree to terms longer than three months per campaign, and it goes without saying that we will only entertain realistic offers.

Lastly, if we do not respond to your enquiry please don’t take offence – the Londoneer is a purely part-time pursuit for the author, who has limited resources at his disposal.
