It's a good piece and I'm proud of my contribution - most of what's mentioned will take you to some rather unusual places, ones that no tourist has ever set foot in. You'll get a much better feel for what London is like for a Londoner

After all, anything's better than going around and around on the London Eye...

Well it could be another unmitigated disaster like Google Wave and a bit pointless like Google Buzz. Saying that, 'circles' in particular offers a really novel way to organise your friends, colleagues and others (including people who overlap into more than one group) so I'm optimistic - if it develops in the right way it certainly could rival Facebook.

Yeah. I second ruby's request for South London [sarfwest London actually] - nobody ever writes about it coz there are little or no tube trains there. No one dares to cross the Thames and have a look-see. Yet so many wonderful villages such as Southwark, Lambeth, Nine Elms, Battersea, Wimbledon

You're probably not wrong - there are so many you almost fall over them. And the fact that most are near life-size doesn't help - I think they're rather fun though. They certainly add to the atmosphere :)
