Once again All Star Productions are reviving a classic musical, as they bring Little Me to the stage at Ye Olde Rose & Crown on Hoe St, from 13 to 31 August.
With music and lyrics by Broadway heavyweights Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh, Little Me is the story of Belle Poitrine, a Venezuelan temptress who finds herself in the luxurious surroundings of Long Island. A rags-to-riches story, she climbs the social ladder through her associations with seven men, some of whom pay the ultimate price…
This is the first outing for Little Me in London for over twenty years, and despite the diminutive stage I’m sure that the cast will turn this into an all-singing, all-dancing production if their recent efforts to revive The Phantom are anything to go by.
The show airs nightly from Tuesday to Saturday at 7:30pm, with Sunday matinees at 3:30pm. You can pick up tickets here.
Keep your eyes peeled for a review, coming your way on the Londoneer on Saturday 17 August…
