Five Essentials To Keep In Your Caravan

May 24, 2013 By Pete Stean

caravanningEvery static caravan owner has a list of important accessories that they could never be without, but if you’re a newcomer to the exciting world of static caravan holidays, you might not know where to begin! Here’s a list of five essentials to always keep at hand in your static caravan to ensure you always have a fun and stress-free break.

Fire Extinguisher/Fire Blanket

Accidents can happen, and even a small fire can be devastating inside a static caravan, so always keep a suitable fire extinguisher or fire blanket in your kitchen – and make sure your smoke alarm has fresh batteries too.

Disposable BBQ

Don’t miss the opportunity for a spot of outside cooking during your static caravan holiday by always keeping a disposable BBQ on hand. Just never, ever use it indoors – it’s extremely dangerous to do so.

Fleece Blanket

Even hot summer days can give way to chilly nights, so make sure you’ve got a warm blanket on hand to wrap up in as you sip a glass of wine under the stars, or just curl up in front of the TV.

Board Games

When the wonderful British weather is doing its worst you might be confined to your static caravan for a few hours or more, so make sure you always have a few board games or a pack of cards on hand to help the time fly by.

Static Caravan Insurance

Sure, it’s not a tangible accessory like the other items on this list, but static caravan insurance should be on every owner’s list of things to have in place before the holiday begins. The peace of mind that comes from knowing you’re covered will help you to relax and enjoy your getaway.
