A London Time-Lapse By Davide Roveri

I come across some fascinating London talent from time to time, and I’ve just been alerted to a sophisticated time-lapse video from Davide Roveri. London has been home for David for three years, although his hometown is actually Bologna in Italy (home of Bolognese sauce of course).

Davide is a freelance photographer with a particular interest in the way that time-lapse video reveals interesting facts that you’d otherwise miss – note for example the regular pauses of the London Eye as it slows to accommodate new passengers. In his own words, he created this particular work as a ‘love letter to the city that stole my heart and that gives me a lot of inspiration every day‘.

Davide will soon be organising time-lapse workshops for those interested in exploring this particular artform further – you can see his other output on his website here. Enjoy the video – I think it’s absolutely mesmerising!

Music is “This Love” by Craig Armstrong. Special thanks to Ms Leah Larkin @ the London Eye Press Office for the photography permit
