SIRO-A’s Spectacular Audio-Visual Show @ Leicester Square Theatre From 1 February

SIRO-A, the six-man group of performers from Sendai, Japan, are bringing their multimedia show to London for the first time, with a run from 1 February to 22 April at the Leicester Square Theatre.

The group performances meld projection and visual trickery with live performance, all set against a funky techno beat and utilising the latest Japanese technology to provide an evening of entertainment that is difficult to describe.

Website Broadway Baby’s reviewer said that:

“At one point, I couldn’t tell the difference between live performer and projected image. This is a spectacular visual experience. This Japanese company overwhelm with staggering technological interactions between multimedia, performer and audience member.”

SIRO-A’s performances have been favourably compared to the Blue Man Group amongst others, and won Mervyn Stutter’s ‘Spirit Of The Fringe’ award at the Edinburgh Festival in 2011.

Tickets are priced at £17 (£15 concessions) which you’ll find online here. Check out the following video from their recent EU tour for a taster of what might be in store for their London show…
