Graham Greenglass is a London cab driver with a difference – as well as having completed ‘the knowledge’ he’s also got a degree in history and has been a qualified London tour guide for eleven years. Alongside his regular business of picking up fares along the city’s busy thoroughfares he also offers leisurely personalised London Cab Tours of the capital in his 2004 TX2 black cab.
Graham’s tours are based around six themes, each of which looks at a different aspect of the city. One or two even take his passengers a little further afield. They are:

Prices for London Cab Tours start from as little as £95, and of course being the driver of a licensed black cab Graham can comfortably accommodate up to five passengers on each trip.
I’m very pleased to be able to tell you that I’ve teamed up with Graham to run a competition for readers of the Londoneer. The winner will be able to select any one of the two-hour daytime London Cab Tours from those listed above, with a pick up and drop off point anywhere in Central London.
The London Cab Tours competition will focus on the ‘London Of Dickens & Shakespeare’ theme so I’d like you to share a photograph which you think captures this aspect of London’s past – perhaps one of the cobbled alleyways that you can still find here and there that’s reminiscent of the Victorian era, or perhaps one of the many references to Shakespeare that you’ll find in London, particularly around Southwark. Feel free to use your imagination.
To take part all you need to do is take a photograph with your smartphone or digital camera and post it to Twitter tagged with @thelondoneer and the hashtag #londoncabtours. Alternatively, if you’re not a Twitter user you can you can simply post the image on the Londoneer’s Facebook timeline to enter the competition.
The competition will close on Christmas Eve, when I’ll be sharing the winning image and the best of the rest in a special festive post on the Londoneer website. The winner will be able to select dates for their London Cab Tour from January 2013 onwards.
