Walk over to Upper Grosvenor Gardens from Victoria station and you’ll make an astonishing discovery – a life-size statue of a lioness chasing a lesser kudu to its death…
This strikingly powerful and muscular piece was created by sculptor Jonathan Kenworthy, and commissioned by the Duke of Westminster (who is worth around £7 billion due to his huge landholdings, so I guess he could afford to have it erected).
Here it is on a Google Map if you want to go and check it out when you’re next in the area.
