The ‘Colour of London’ Competition Winner!

Well a month has gone by so it’s time to announce the winner of the ‘Colour of London‘ competition, who gets a copy of both Siobhan Wall’s ‘Quiet London‘ and Geoffrey Fletcher’s classic tome, ‘The London Nobody Knows‘.

Here are all of the entries – I’m leaving the image of the winner until last:

Drum roll.. I’m proud to announce that the winner of the ‘Colour of London’ competition is Gary Denness, with this lovely picture of his wife enjoying a day out in Greenwich. The red is just right, and what’s more he’s even managed to get a famous London building into the frame as well – the old naval college that sits on the riverside there.

Thanks to everyone for entering – there’ll be another photo competition up on the blog very soon!
