London On A Budget From HostelBookers

London Travel Tips

The guys from HostelBookers have put together a series of really great little videos for people coming to the capital who are on a budget. I’ve watched the ‘London Guide’ all the way through and it really is useful advice – follow it and you’ll really get to see London from the perspective of a native, and you won’t have to get your wallet out too often either. I particularly loved the moment when the voice-over guy says “Sarf London” before going on to talk about Brixton :)

Talking about cheap, HostelBookers have some really good offers on at the moment which will save you a lot of money off your accommodation, but the offer ends on 31 January so you’ll need to get in there quick! The Walrus Waterloo hostel just across from Parliament on Westminster Bridge Road (which, by the way, gets over a 90% approval rating from their customers – not an easy feat even for posh hotels in this town!) has 50% off rooms right now, and both Clink78 and Clink261 have 20% off.

EDIT – I’m told that the sale has been extended until 28 February, so there’s plenty more time to snap up a bargain room!
