This is rather an odd thing to tell you about, but given my love of comic books and the surreal I can’t resist, and it certainly looks like its going to make for an interesting evening of entertainment…
Going on sale tomorrow (Friday 12 November) will be tickets for the ‘Batman Live Worldwide Arena Tour‘, from Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment and produced by Nick Grace of Water Lane Productions. The tour, which will reach the UK next autumn, consists of a live action show with acrobatics, pyrotechnics and the like that follows a unique new storyline about Batman that’s not been told before. The show will feature classic characters from the series, such as Catwoman, The Joker, The Penguin and others, and several sets will also be employed during each performance, so expect to see the inside of Wayne Manor, the streets of Gotham City and the gloriously creepy Arkham Asylum.
The Worldwide Arena Tour arrives at the O2 in London on 24 August and runs through until 4 September. It sounds like its going to be a once in a lifetime experience – I’m definitely planning to go along! Keep an eye on the main website and their Facebook page for updates…
