The Citroën DS3 Ecomedy Tour

A couple of weeks ago I covered the show that Ali Cook is taking to the Edinburgh Fringe this year, and its time to tell you about another couple of comedians heading for Scotland, but this time with a twist.

Dan Adams and Christian Ancliff will be hoping to pilot one of the new super-economical Citroën DS3 99g’s from London to Edinburgh on a single tank of petrol, as part of the ‘Citroën DS3 Ecomedy Tour‘, which will see them leaving the city on the 1st August and hoping to arrive in Edinburgh by the 6th. They’ll be fundraising for the Helen & Douglas House Hospice along the way, which provides respite care for seriously ill children and young adults. You’ll be able to catch their Fringe show, ‘Baggage of Being‘, if you turn up at the send-off gig at Stockwell’s Cavendish Arms on the evening of 1st August, and of course there will be plenty of ways to track their progress – you’ll be able to visit the Ecomedy Tour website which the guys will be updating with blogposts and video daily, or by following Citroën on Twitter or Facebook. I’m going to do my best to make it to the gig so I may well see you there, and lets hope that they don’t end up having to push! :)
