It’s Life Jim, But Not As We Know It…

October 29, 2008 By Pete Stean

There’s an absolute flood of new images of the next Star Trek movie online now, so I’ve gathered them all together here, so you don’t have to go hunting for them 😉 Notice how closely Karl Urban resembles De Forrest Kelly (I hope he has the same gravelly voice!) and can you spot Mr Scott aka Simon Pegg glowering in the background – superb!

I don’t understand why they’ve chosen a black uniform for Kirk though, where are the mustard/emerald shirts of old??

They will all feature in a big article in this week’s Empire magazine so keep an eye out for it. There is a downside though – a rumour that’s growing in strength on the ‘net indicates that we may not get the Christmas release that we are expecting, but that because of concerns over the quality of some special effects they’re reworking things and the film may not now appear until next summer… I just hope this particular rumour is proved wrong though – it would be the perfect Christmas gift for me :)
